During the Taiwan Expo 2019 day 2, we are lucky to join on a series of programme arranged by the organisers for example like the Taiwan Halal Bubble Tea Sharing Session and the Nyonya Cuisine Delights using Taiwanese halal ingredients headed by Penang Celebrity Chef Nurilkarim and also last but not least the halal beauty products tour after the event to show Taiwan Halal skincare and cosmetics.
The first thing first when I hear the word halal bubble tea I was like ohh wow , this is really something new ! The ever-popular bubble tea from Taiwan is made using halal raw material which makes it the ideal beverage for our Muslim friend in Malaysia and beyond.
With the Penang Government actively developing its halal industry, there are plenty of business opportunities between Taiwanese halal products manufacturers and Malaysian businesses waiting to be explored. Taiwan halal products are highly regarded for the high quality production and attractive packaging, and the products on display at this year’s expo include many halal food and beverage items, halal beauty products and halal agricultural products.
The main exhibitors at the halal pavilion include five of the most iconic halal products and bubble tea maker in Taiwan, including Shih Chen a Foods, Yilan Anyong LOHAS, FuFann Enterprise, Kuojer Enterprise and Ying Soon Lih Food Machine.
Amongst the activities lined up including presenting of halal cosmetic products by the person in charge of the Taiwan beauty pavilion as well.
And next is the special cooking demonstration by Penang’s own celebrity chef Nurilkarim,cooking the delectable Asam Laksa using Taiwanese halal products. We get to taste the curry during our tour after the presentation and it is really slurpsss.
It was a great opportunity to experience the VIP tour and the programme planned by the organiser . My tummy is blessed. Haha
