Say bye bye to my Acne Scar!

Acne has been a major problems to me and I struggle a lot treating it all the time since puberty.From facial cleanser to proper skin care routine, I’ve tried numerous type of methods to treat my acne scar, and thank god this time I found this great treatment from Premier Clinic that can help me to solve my acne scar problems.

So I visited Premier Clinic Mont Kiara Branch last month and look for Dr Foo to save my face haha. He advised me to do the Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment that will help in healing my acne scar.

Using the new technology of Fractional Laser Resurfacing can obtain results that are similar to that of deep chemical peels or ablative laser resurfacing, minus the discomfort or the usual downtime associated with such techniques. Scars should be of a lighter colour and your skin texture will be more even, leaving no visible wounds and allows you to apply make-up immediately following the procedure.

Fractional Laser treatment is used for the treatment of

• Facial lines and wrinkles
• Sun damage
• Skin pigmentation and acne scarring

First, a layer of numb cream is applied on my face and leave for about 15 to 20 minutes before the laser treatment starts.

The whole laser treatment is about 30 minutes and after that a cold towel is applied on my face.

Overall I didn’t feel any pain on my face during the treatment, after the treatment there is slight feeling of sunburn sensation that lasted about a few hour.

I really can see major difference on my face after 1 week plus as my face is really glowing even without foundation on(from the picture). So during healing phase after laser treatment it is recommended that the treatment area is protected using a moisturising sunscreen with a SPF of at least 50+.
