Gala house is not new to all Penangites and it portrays "hipster" kind of style which is loved by young adults and teenagers living in Penang. Gala House commenced it's business in 2013 and until now still standing strong among all the cafes in Penang.
The signage of Gala House complete with light bulbs gives the cafe a retro feel just suits the the heritage concept in Georgetown area.
Last week a group of bloggers and I went to Gala House for a food review their food and to be honest, I would like to give 5 stars for them. From food service to great food and awesome drinks in the menu, we really enjoy our great time at there.
The Ambience and environment is just nice, and we took many instragrammable photos at there.
This picture is taken from the long table at upstairs in Gala House. According to the cafe-manager, private functions like proposal ,birthday bash , or company private event usually will be held here. It is very spacious and for customers who come in 10 pax and above, may request to book this long table too.

This coffee blended with liquor named "orang kaya coffee" is the speciality of Gala House.
Among all the food served , I love the French onion soup the most, to me the caramelized onion is cooked perfectly ! Not forgetting the kimchi salmon spaghetti, all of us love this fusion kinda spaghetti.
It was really a great night catching up with all the ladies and we enjoyed the food a lot. We finished everything in less than an hour and I really strongly recommend Penangites and people who visiting Penang can come and give Gala House a try. Big big thumbs up for their service and the food !
