Everyone knows times are going tougher this year 2020 so all of us are starting to adapt to the " new normal". Something that really surprised me to share something with you guys for today's blog is, Taiwan Expo is in Malaysia this year for the 4th consecutive year and this time it will be an online expo ! This virtual exhibition is going to held on November 25th to 27th covering informative online seminars, exclusive one-on-one e business matching session for about 200 Taiwanese exhibitors and Malaysia exhibitors to explore business opportunities.

So, I'm very lucky to be invited to G Hotel's very own cafe Taste Cafe for a food review on their International Buffet dinner with a few friends of mine. G Hotel is one of the renowned 5-star hotels in Penang with a total of 6 F&B outlets including all day dining restaurants, bars, lounges, and 2 pool bars, as well as 15 function rooms and 2 grand ballrooms. Recently, the hotel is proud to introduce their two new leaders on board which is the new Executive Sous Chef Siva Kumar s/o Samarason and the latest appointed Director of F&B Mr Andy Ooi Khye Kit.

buffet dinner.
Okay let me take you on a journey to this awesome International Buffet dinner @ Taste Cafe. The choices of the buffet dinner from the
counters features salad bar, cheese section,
ice cream station and Japanese selection with the menu that changes according
to the buffet themes from appetizer and antipasto to soup to carving station
and live action station as well as the dessert.
All the fresh seafood is served daily on a bed of glistening ice, retaining its freshness all night long.
This is definitely the most stunning attraction of the night near the carving station - Tender lamb leg to go with BBQ mint sauce

The desserts come in the form of cakes, jelly,
mouse, assorted Nyonya kuih, chocolate fountain, fruits, ice cream and many
others to end the meal on a sweet note. Overall, me and my friends had a really great time dining at Taste Cafe on that night. Pardon me for not capture every single dishes of the night and post it here. I'm actually focusing more on eating rather than taking pictures hahahha.
To me i feel Taste cafe differentiate themselves from others buffet dinner is that, they will change the dishes selection on their menu from time to time according to the buffet theme unlike some other restaurant which serves the same dishes over a long period of time. We really had a great time dining at Taste Cafe once again thank you Christina (Director of Communications) and also Annie Wong (Assistant Marcom Manager) for your warm invitation that lovely night to reward my taste buds !
